These past few weeks the main sound in my house has been the tap tap tap of the computer keys.
After my brief tuition in basic html and dreamweaver (very limited but still exciting) from my man, we have between us been, taking, cropping and adding product photos and now have a site (still needs some additions) ready to receive online purchasing. We have some products still to update and hopefully we are now on a roll and will achieve this in the coming weeks.
Many of the products which are ready made or as we like to say 'off the peg' have been reduced. We are now making a distinction between these and made to order items which still can be made up but at the usual price. This covers the element of design time and fabric sourcing to each orders needs.
The reason for this new move is that we are changing direction and have chosen to vacate the studio at the end of the year. In the New Year we will continue to collaborate and will be able to take on special orders based on our work to date. We will also be developing some other personal projects, continuing commission pieces and will perhaps do some workshops.
We are really excited about all the possibilities that this new freedom will allow us, both individually and together.
Please do go over and have a look our updated website and if you know anyone who would like our creations, please encourage them to have a look too.
Thanks for all your support.
Alice and Ginny

I'll go right over now! Perhaps it will inspire me to get the updates done on mine too - not my favourite job in the world.
I look forward to hearing of your new projects,

It sounds like you're enjoying a really positive change in your life - the website is fantastic, well done for learning html. I have a husband who does all of that for me, as I can manage html but CSS is a whole other animal which I cannot understand!
Hi Tash,
My husband does the CSS too...way over my head! am only a beginnner.. but essential for me to learn some so i can update stuff. Thanks

Hi Ginny, thanks for visiting me again, I hope I have got the correct name for the tree because it was here when we moved in and I saw what I think it is in a book, it would be nice to see one of your finished autumn leaf pictures, they sound really interesting and a great idea. Louise x
Yay! You're back - I've missed reading your posts. It sounds like you've been really busy in the most productive sort of way - your website looks fantastic.
Huge admiration for all the things that you've been learning - my husband is a web designer too, and to me it really does seem like a different language - but I've always thought it would such an empowering skill to have....one day I'll get there!

Hi Ginny,
I think that your website looks great. My only wish is that I had some money to spend....will keep you in mind for the future though. Good luck with the new direction of your business ~ I am sure that it will be a success.
Drop by to see me soon ~ I have an award for you.
Enjoy your weekend.

Wishing you all the best!
Hi ... I was just doing some blog-browsing and landed at your page. I just wanted to leave a comment to say how beautiful your work is. I shall bookmark and be back again!
Take care - Kitty :-)
So sorry to miss you at Wisley. We drove all the way there, found a car parking spot (no mean feat) and then walked towards the entrance. At this point MissM went as white as a sheet and threw up. So we got back in the car, drove back home and tucked her up in bed. I hope that you had a very successful weekend - you certainly had wonderful weather!
The web site looks great, very impressed with your new skills and everything sounds so very exciting, looking forward to reading all about it here.
Thats fantastic, I love the web site. You are very talented
