More sky....

..... dramatic, wispy cloud filled sky on this beautiful bright sun-shiny day.
The cloud formations are constantly changing. I have been spending this afternoon gazing upwards, snapping away and appreciating their transient beauty.
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.

A much nicer day today, I did manage an hour outside this afternoon, topping up the bird feeders, quick tidy round etc. I didn't think to look up at the sky though! Your photos just show how lovely the sky can look at this time of year. x

Yes,it has been a really lovely blue sky day today, appreciated all the more after the grey rainy days we've had this week. We went for a walk this afternoon but it was all a bit sludgy underfoot and we came back very mud-spattered - worth it for the blue sky though!

Hello Ginny
I have noticed some incredible cloud formations recently.. I love the vapour trails as they start to fade and criss cross the sky.. choreography of the skies!

Gorgeous photos. I may need to keep checking back on them today as it's looking pretty grey and miserable again. Was lovely on Saturday though. Definitely makes a difference to see a bit of blue sky.

Beautiful sky on Saturday, very changeable again today. It is a wonderful time of the year to be sky watching, especially when it stops me doing the mountain of things on my 'to do' list!

how lovely, really nice to see those photos, thanks. here in italy it is a cloudy grey day. i just bought the cloudspottern's guide by gavin pretor-pinney the other day, you may be interested in it, if you don't know it already that it. and also the deer shelter by james turrell at the yorkshire sculpture park, amazing thing for sky gazing, frames everything in such a bold way.

have fun

Isn't blue sky so uplifting? Much better than those dull, grey days.
